Supervision

I am a BABCP accredited CBT Supervisor. I supervise trainees and qualified CBT therapists in my role with the NHS as well as privately. All my supervision is offered online. I have the relevant qualifications to write BABCP reports and carry out CTSRs to help practitioners become accredited. To book a supervision session please contact me below.

Supervision Approach

Supervision is a deeply important part of my work, and something I’m genuinely passionate about. I believe supervision should be a collaborative, reflective and supportive space where therapists feel safe to explore their clinical work, develop their skills and strengthen their professional identity.

My supervision style is grounded in compassion, curiosity and respect. I aim to create a steady, non‑judgemental environment where supervisees can think openly, deepen their understanding of their clients, and feel confident in their therapeutic decision‑making.

Supervision with me is structured yet flexible — a balance of clinical guidance, reflective practice, and space to explore the emotional impact of the work. I value supervision as a place where therapists can grow, feel supported, and stay connected to the heart of their practice.

Main Aims for Supervision

  • Ensuring effective and ethical CBT practice   Supporting therapists to deliver safe, ethical and evidence‑based CBT, with space to explore clinical decisions, risk, boundaries and best practice.
  • Developing CBT skills, knowledge and clinical reasoning   Strengthening core CBT competencies through collaborative discussion, case formulation, guided reflection and ongoing skills development.
  • Supporting reflective practice and professional growth   Creating a steady, non‑judgemental space for therapists to think deeply about their work, explore therapeutic processes, and develop confidence in their clinical identity.
  • Enhancing therapist wellbeing and resilience   Prioritising the emotional wellbeing of therapists by offering compassionate support, helping them manage the impact of the work, and fostering sustainable, resilient practice.
